Why not join us for a fun social evening of backgammon on Thursdays from 7:00pm onwards with play starting at 7:15pm. 

All standards are welcome, from beginners to champions.

We are a UK Backgammon Federation registered club, with all competitive matches counting towards National Rankings. 

Members participate in tournaments up and down the country, also in the NW League and UKBGF Online league, and the club competes in the UK Club Championships.

We run an annual club 3-point championship (1st Thursday), a 1-point (3rd Thursday).

We also have a 9 point (all-play-all) league through the year with matches able to be played on the 2nd/5th Thursday or after the discussion sessions to determine best moves on various positions and rolls (4th Thursday).

We run an annual Liverpool Open Tournament (see Liverpool Open page) -2023 champion Cristi Cozos.
